My BOA has stated they want the ALTs, both JET and privates, working for the middle and high schools to start going to afterschool clubs to promote exchange with the students. It says that if we ALTs go to clubs and interact with the kids, they will open up to us, learn more about foreign cultures, and do better in classes. Sounds wonderful, right?
